- Nobody cares about your story as much as you do!
- If you're giving presentations and talking ALL ABOUT YOU for the first 15 minutes...there's a good chance you've lost your audience. (Yes this goes for 1-on-1 meetings too!)
- Quickly establish credibility then move on!
To Quickly Establish Credibility Start Asking Your Audience Great Questions!
Who better to promote your services and build your credibility than the person you are engaging with?
Instead of telling "your story" why not simply ask what benefits that person (your future client) can come up with for working with you?
"Before we begin, what benefits can you come up with for working with a company like ours?"
- By asking great questions our clients are engaged.
- Most importantly, they are immediately sharing what they value.
- We are controlling the conversation by asking great questions!
- When they share the benefits of our services we naturally would agree with them...and are now in a state of rapport.
So here's an assignment...
